Class Description - Morning Moves
Class Description- "Morning Moves" combines modern/jazz exercises with yoga breathing patterns and poses to prepare your body for technique classes. Fire up your core, jam out to good music, and get ready to conquer your day.
10:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m. EST
Class Description - Dancer Conditioning -
Class Description “Combining the stability of pilates, the invigorating flow of yoga, and focused ballet exercises, this class will activate and condition every muscle you need to be a strong, balanced mover. Whether you are a professional dancer or you just want to get your workout in for the day, this is the class for you!”
This class can be for anyone. “Ages 6 to Adult”
11:00 a m. - Noon EST
*Tejah Nettles - Jazz
Class Description Jazz Class
The genre I will be teaching for my class will be Jazz. Students will also learn tips and tricks on how to gain and exude confidence when performing. We will also work on showmanship and I will teach a jazz combination!

*Ciara Loscombe- Dance Composition
Class Description- We will talk about dance composition, you will choose a choreographic material, and arrange it according to an aesthetic idea or project and we fix it. ... Improvisation before composing usually leans on ideas, music or any kind of associations referred to the piece that is being created.

Class Description- Modern and Contemporary Fusion Mix
Modern Contemporary Fusion a free, expressive style of dancing, it has included elements not usually associated with dance, such as speech and film. This style combines different dance styles to create a new aesthetic. It is typically an improvised, lead-follow approach to dancing that does not conform to any particular defined dance styles. Exhilarating!

*Jerome Johnson- Professional Division Ballet/Horton
Class Description- Horton's dance technique, which is now commonly known as Horton Technique, has no style, per se. The technique emphasizes a whole body, anatomical approach to dance that includes flexibility, strength, coordination and body and spatial awareness to enable unrestricted, dramatic freedom of expression.
Movement with a Ballet/Horton class for professionals or children.
2:00 p.m. -3:00 p.m. EST
Contemporary/Hip Hop Fusion
Celebrates the mixing together of different dance styles. Having a background such as hip hop , ballet , African and even contemporary are the key ingredients of his class . From popping and locking to a piquè arabesque , you will do it all ! Intermediate/Advanced welcome but mainly anyone that has a passion to learn and step out of their comfort zone . We are going to explore how to be diverse and stay true to yourself in hopes to lift us all up in these times ! Bring your ballet shoes , bare feet and a little bit of space to open your heart with me for an hour !

Tap dance is a type of dance characterised by using the sounds of tap shoes striking the floor as a form of percussion. The sound is made by shoes that have a metal "tap" on the heel and toe.

We have been working hard learning and exploring movement, now is the time to Dance and fellowship while learning coping methods and fun activities in the form of pleasant Q&A.

Class Description 2 Class series to African music
(1st) week Technique Class to African Music. (2nd) week Barre to African Music
The basis of Technique Class all fundamentals of dance, from holding your body correctly while performing, to executing skills properly in a routine. Strong technique extends across all areas of dance, regardless of the style of your routine. African music is a tradition mainly played at gatherings at special occasions. The traditional music of Africa, given the vastness of the continent, is historically ancient, rich and diverse, with different regions and nations of Africa having many distinct musical traditions.
Nia has trained in many styles of dance such as Ballet, Modern, African, Hip-Hop, and especially finding the Groove. This is Intermediate/Advance friendly and open to those who are open minded to learn more about Hip-Hop. Wear something that makes you feel comfortable and FLY!

African Dance/American Ballet Theatre National Teacher Curriculum
The focus in this Ballet and African class is to build strength, flexibility grace and control, and will improve performance quality. Fun Vibrant combinations with a Twist!
